What's new in Ambih

Every release, newest first — what was added, what changed, and what got fixed.

  1. v1.0

    Latest

The first public release of Ambih Monitor — live monitoring, throttling, cross-session analysis, and the ambih CLI, all in one Windows desktop app.

    Added
    • Live CPU / RAM / disk / network charts at 1 Hz, with a per-session process tree.
    • Floating mini-monitor and pop-out terminal for at-a-glance numbers while you work.
    • Hard CPU & RAM caps enforced through Windows Job Objects.
    • Cross-session analysis: regression, memory drift, baseline health, and a session deep-dive (Pro).
    • The ambih command-line companion — launch, query, diff, and gate CI from any terminal.
    • Desktop-app monitoring in addition to dev servers and scripts.
  2. v0.9

    Beta

    Release-candidate hardening ahead of 1.0.

    Added
    • Cloud licensing for the Pro tier — PKCE OAuth sign-in with a fingerprint-bound session.
    • In-app updater with background download and one-click apply.
    • A 7-factor Confidence breakdown behind every cross-session verdict.
    Changed
    • Anomaly verdicts now publish at any history depth, labelled with a Confidence tier instead of being hidden behind a "collecting data" gate.
    Fixed
    • Network blips no longer sign Pro users out — refresh now distinguishes a rejected token from an unreachable server.
    • A second app launch now activates the running window instead of exiting silently.
  3. v0.8

    Beta

Session comparison and the first CLI build.

    Added
    • Session compare and trend views, with per-metric delta cards.
    • First public build of the ambih CLI (start, list, status, history, diff).
    Fixed
    • Crashed sessions are now reconstructed from interval snapshots so they still count toward the baseline.
